Way to go Hope students! Take a look at all of these positive office referrals that our students earned in March!

Grade 3 students at Hope Elementary in Mrs. Brady's class paired up to identify the theme in their class text "If the Shoe Fits", which is part of their Traditional Tales unit! They also completed Multiplication Math stations on Valentines day where they graphed conversation hearts, played a multiplication match game, and a Valentine bump game!

Hope second-grade students practiced their bucket drumming skills in February, and they enjoyed every minute of it!

Students in Grade 1 at Hope Elementary worked hard in February on their penguin crafts and animal writing! Everyone had tons of fun, and they were proud to show off their work when it was complete!

Congratulations to our Hope Elementary students who received recognition for their positive behavior in February!

Tuesday, February 6th was our 100th day of school! Our Hope Elementary students celebrated by dressing as if they were 100 years old!

Yesterday Hope Elementary students had a Kindness Celebration where they discussed small actions that we can all do every day to show kindness to others! Before this celebration took place, students had put together greeting cards that contained kind messages! The Scituate Police Department will be helping our students by sending these cards out to Senior Citizens in our community to help spread some happiness! As a reward for their thoughtful messaging and hard work, the Coventry SRO brought in a special comfort canine to help bring some smiles to our student's faces as well!

Today was National SRO Appreciation Day and we surprised our SRO at Hope Elementary School with a special balloon bouquet to thank him for all that he does at Scituate! Thank you, Mr. Parenti!!

Students in Grades 3-5 at Hope Elementary had the opportunity to participate in an 8-week after-school robotics program run by Mr. Cullen! Students had tons of fun!

Hope Elementary has started a new whole school behavior system! In the foyer, you will see a chart with each classroom listed. Students are working to earn "stars" or compliments from staff members who spot the class following school expectations in the hallways. Once a class earns 15 stars, they can choose a reward like extra recess, a dance party, special dress-up day, etc.! Ask your kiddo how many stars their class has earned today!

Our Hope students have done an amazing job earning positive office referrals this year! Let's keep up the great work!

Great job Hope students! Keep earning those positive office referrals!

In December, The Scituate Police Department organized a successful Stuff a Cruiser Event with our elementary schools. Thank you to the Scituate Community for supporting this event which provides toys/games for our Adopt a Family program. It's wonderful to be part of a giving and supportive community!

Clayville, Hope, and North Scituate Elementary schools all enjoyed their school holiday chorus concerts before the winter break! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces!

Students at Hope Elementary School enjoyed their book fair last week! The book fair is always a great opportunity for students to explore new books to read!

Scituate elementary students had an enchanting chorus performance at the Hope Tree Lighting a few weeks ago! Their performance was described as making the night wonderful, magical, and memorable!!

We are so excited to celebrate all of the good deeds and good choices that our Hope Elementary students make daily! In the month of November, we had many students receive awards for good behavior! Students are rewarded based on displaying behaviors in these categories: Growth Mindset, Problem Solving, Managing Emotions, Effort, Kindness, and Goal Setting. These categories align with our Social Emotional Curriculum- Second Step.
